圣何塞(11月). 11, 2022)—The 菠菜网lol正规平台 School of lol菠菜网正规平台 and Mass Communications is proud to award author Brad Schreiber the 2022 William Randolph Hearst Award for Outstanding Service in Professional lol菠菜网正规平台 from the Hearst lol菠菜网正规平台 Awards Program.

Schreiber joins a long line of distinguished Hearst Award honorees including veteran CBS newsman Dan Rather, CNN’s Jim Acosta and Dr. 安东尼·福奇首席医疗顾问 乔·拜登总统.

Schreiber has authored books on the music industry including “Music is Power: Popular Songs, Social Justice and the Will to Change” and “Becoming Jimi Hendrix: From Southern Crossroads to Psychedelic London, the Untold Story of a Musical Genius.后者 was selected for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Library.

Schreiber also authored “Revolution’s End: The Patty Hearst Kidnapping, Mind Control and the Secret History of Donald DeFreeze and the SLA.这本书同时获得了两个奖项 the International Book Awards and the Independent Publisher Book Awards.

He wrote the animated feature film “Jungle Shuffle,” featuring the voices of Alicia 银石和罗布·施耐德. He also wrote the pilots “Rock and Roll Detectives” and “Robotica.”

Schreiber was given a residency from the Edward Albee Foundation for his play “Rendezvous.” It was produced, along with his plays “Pearl” (which he directed) and “Bunny vs. 猎手” at the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, where he also was in the Playwrights Practicum 山姆·谢泼德.

Schreiber co-founded the San Francisco Playwrights Center, where he had numerous play readings and acted in and directed the work of other playwrights. “快速通道”是 given an award and produced at the Stages Theatre Festival in Dallas.

Schreiber taught nonfiction at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, UCLA and the Gotham
